Q.  O knowledgable Oracle,
What kind of guitar did Johnny use during the MX tour, and I mean the one that had the graffiti like the other instruments. I felt like it was a stratocaster but I wasn't sure what kind. And also, who did the atwork for the bands instruments?

I've actually discussed the artwork many times but here's Matt:

Same guy that did everything else, a graffiti artist named Paris. There were Strats and Teles, mostly painted by him.

Q.  In Live 2012 CD Chris is saying something in the Charlie Brown number. It's something like Thank you Netherlands come to Paris".

What is it exactly and what is the meaning of this?

No mention of Netherlands. Chris says "Unbelievable. Thank you for letting us come to Paris". The bit after is tricky because of a slight echo - "and letting us see something so beautiful as". Mmm, it sounds like he's saying 'heaven' but not so sure.

Q.  Hi Oracle,
Just back from the amazing concert in Paris, I saw the setlist posted by Phil Harvey. Charlie Brown is written on that list, but was surely not played at the concert, what happened to it?

You were there & I was there yet I heard Charlie Brown and you didn't. I shall assume you were SO excited that it didn't sink in. ;-)
It was the second song.
There were last minute changes to the setlist. That isn't unusual but it's why the one Phil tweeted was hand-written.
Here is last night's setlist:
Always in My Head
Charlie Brown
Paradise
Magic
Clocks
God Put a Smile Upon Your Face
Green Eyes
Ink
True Love
Viva La Vida
Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall
Midnight

Encore:
Oceans
A Sky Full of Stars
Fix You

If you're interested, here's what it was originally going to be:
Always in My Head
Magic
Paradise
Clocks
Charlie Brown
Ink
God Put a Smile Upon Your Face
Green Eyes
True Love
Viva La Vida
Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall
Midnight

Encore:
The Scientist
Oceans
A Sky Full of Stars
Fly On / O

Q.  Dear Oracle, I was lucky enough to get tickets to Casino de Paris. Is there any support? Please tell me it's Madeon, after the collaboration on the album!

I'm not sure I'd use the word collaboration for the tiny - yet important - additional input by Madeon. I believe it was the final sound we hear on Always In My Head. Anyway, there will be no support act tomorrow evening. See you there!

Q.  Hi Oracle, I always wondered if you're a guy or girl.

Anyways, Paris did the artworks for MYLO XYLOTO right.
Did he painted it all by himself or he had help?

& also how many piano, guitars etc have he painted during that period ?
I'm guessing like alot alot. Sounds like he's half octopus.
Ku, Malaysia.

Paris did indeed have help on the mammoth task of the MX art. His girlfriend Milk worked on it with him. He roped in lots of friends for the ETIAW video. You can read more about it here.

I don't know how many instruments in total were painted but possibly 3 keyboards as well as drumkit & almost all the guitars - but many of you have noticed that Guy's bass remained graffiti free.

In answer to whether I am a boy or a girl - I'm neither.

Q.  Dearest Oracle,
Does Paris, the oh so talented graffiti artist who did Coldplay's art, have a website? If you please, I would like to check out more of his brilliant works. Thanks for answering, Oracle. Cheers from L.A., California Xx

Paris does indeed have a website.

Q.  What is Paris, the graffiti artist's full name?

Now that would be like me revealing who Banksy is...
I know there's a certain air of mystery on Coldplay.com with certain personnel monikers and I doubt Paris would take too kindly to me telling you his name is Graham Dews, but it is.
