Q.  Hi Oracle!
I've noticed something a bit strange on the banner for Ghost Stories on iTunes - Chris' face seems to be blurred or at least not focused by the camera when the photo was taken. Is there a reason for this? Was it done on purpose for Guy, Jonny and Will to stand out?

I think they all look a little out of focus. It's just the way the photo turned out - probably because it was taken with little lighting. Incidentally, that photo was taken by Phil on his iPhone.

Q.  Hey there
My question is why did the band record Ghost Stories in Guy's home not in the bakery? Do they still own there?

The band still write & record at The Bakery (& Beehive) but not all the time.
Ghost Stories wasn't recorded at Guy's house; some parts were but not the whole album. Some of it was recorded in London, some in the U.S...

Q.  Hi. I just love the album art for Ghost Stories created by Mila Furstova. I believe that it really compliments the album and is inspirational. I have read that this website offers a larger digital version of the artwork with the ability of magnify the contents more thoroughly. But I have not been able to find it so I would really appreciate if team oracle could help me. Thanks

Team Oracle is a separate thing. There is one Oracle - me & the Team Oracle refers to any contributors on a Friday.
Anyway, when the new look website was revealed, we had the album's artwork on the landing page. You can find the hi-res image here where you can indeed zoom in to magnify.

Q.  Dear O,
Now that the scheduled gigs are over, can we say that the Ghost Stories Era is over? Should we wait for the next one or there are still things coming from GS?
Thank You!

Let's not be too hasty, the ASFOS E.P was only out on Sunday! The tour may be over but the era isn't.

Q.  Hi Oracle! Could you tell me what are those videos that Coldplay have been posting on YouTube (True Love, Ink, Another's Arms) and why are they only about 1:30 long? Are they all going to be singles?

I'm not sure if you know but the week before Ghost Stories came out, the album was available to stream. It was accompanied by Truck Animation's full-length animation of Mila Furstova's artwork.
These videos are snippets from that. All are songs from the album - not singles.

Q.  Hello Oracle!
So as I was scrolling through Twitter yesterday, I saw a Tweet about the new A Sky Full Of Stars EP. Then, of course, I went to iTunes to buy it but it wasn't there. I searched and searched for it but it's not showing up. I even asked a few of my friends if it was available for them and they said no. I'm not sure if it's just because I live in America but I know the release was worldwide. Do you know why it is not showing up? Please help!
Thank you!

Those songs were available in the U.S back in May on the Target Deluxe version of the album. That is why the E.P is not available in America as Anchorman reported.

Q.  All knowing Oracle,
I was on Wikipedia today and noticed a Ghost Stories World Tour listed in the tour chronology scheduled for next year. I was wondering if you can confirm this and/or give a hint as to when and where it wil begin?!

I'm very confused, Luke. The wikipedia page I am looking at doesn't mention a 2015 world tour at all.
It basically lists the dates the band have played since April and includes the two in London next week.
That's correct as it stands.
There are no current plans to continue a Ghost Stories world tour.

Q.  Is it the stage in the video uploaded on YouTube for A sky full of stars (TV special) is the one that Chris Martin mentioned which cost about 2m to build?

The TV special - Coldplay: Ghost Stories - was the stage that Chris was referring to when he said it was too expensive to re-create for every show but I'm pretty sure he was half joking / exaggerating the £2 million cost of it - though it was VERY expensive.

Q.  Dear O,
I recently saw Coldplay on The Graham Norton Show where Chris and Jonny were asked if they would be doing a world tour where they replied 'No' in unison! Is this true? Will Coldplay cease to be setting on a Ghost Stories tour? Please shed some light on this situation!
p.s I love the column!

Many thanks,

Grace

As you may have noticed, Coldplay have been performing at more intimate shows at smaller venues. I suppose that amounts to a tour of sorts but not on the scale of previous ones.
Chris & Jonny said on the Graham Norton Show that there will be no big world tour for this album and yes, that is true.
Here's where the band played / are playing:
25 April - E-Werk, Cologne, Germany
05 May - Beacon Theatre, New York, USA
19 May - Royce Hall, Los Angeles, USA
28 May - Casino de Paris, Paris, France
12 June - Dome City Hall, Tokyo, Japan
19 June - Enmore Theatre, Sydney, Australia
01 July - Royal Albert Hall, London, UK

There have been other performances too but these are the official tour dates as they stand.

Q.  Why the set used to the TV Special is too expensive? It seems simply a round stage...

It wasn't "simply a round stage"; it was recorded in a custom-built amphitheatre.
As they performed in the round, they also were able to incorporate 360-degree projections.
