Q. DEAR ORACLE, I HAVE SEEN ON YOU TUBE THE VIDEO OF POLITIK AT THE GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2005, WHAT CHRIS SAID IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG? I DON'T UNDERSTAND...THANKS SO MUCH
The Oracle replies:
Are you shouting at me Marta or just trying to get my attention?
Chris often changes lyrics of certain songs at shows to make the crowd feel more involved and so it's always relevant to where they are and what is going on. At Glastonbury 2005 during Politik he changes the lyrics to:
"Give me weather that does no harm
Michael Eavis and Worthy Farm
Give me mud up to my knee
The best festival in history".
Just to explain what those lyrics refer to... Glastonbury Festival has in recent years gained a reputation for its rain that ends with the site (Worthy Farm) becoming a mud bath and Michael Eavis is the founder of the festival which began in 1970.
